Wedding Supplier Review

I know very helpful ang supplier reviews for future brides, so here’s mine. Honestly, I stopped blogging because may mga suppliers akong pasaway that made our wedding not as flawless as we’d hope it would be. For the guests, ok lang naman and wala actually nakaalam/nakahalata ng little mishaps here and there but for the bride who planned every detail, iba pa din. Ofcourse on the day, I surrendered everything and just enjoyed the day but after the wedding is a different story. Nandon na yong maaalala mo yong magaganda at syempre yong di magaganda, hahah.

Disclaimer: Rant ahead! Sorry di maiwasan pero most of my suppliers are really good naman. Thank God for professionals like them.

Church: Chapel on the Hill
It’s a small chapel kaya for smaller number of guests lang and short lang din ang aisle for the bridal walk which I like.

Venue: Club Ananda Sandari Batulao
This venue is a club house inside Sandari (subdivision) which is relatively new kaya halos wala pang nakatayong houses. They have 3 options: Events Hall (indoor), Pool side (outdoor) and Garden (outdoor). We opted for the Events hall since June wedding kami at takot kami maulanan. They only do one event per day kaya the guests can roam around the whole place at ang ganda ng pool area nila. They only have around 5 designated parking slots sa harap pero buong street naman pwede gawing parking kaya no problem. My advice lang if you are considering this place, iwasan nyo ibook if your wedding is noon time and the reception will fall at around 2-5pm kasi mainit. Morning or late afternoon wedding will be best for this venue. Our wedding was 3pm naman kaya when the guests arrived at the venue, mga ilang minutes na lang nila nafeel yong araw, tapos nag sunset na.

Video: Ghe Consolacion
Super galing! Check out his works at talagang ang gaganda, wala akong masabi. Short but sweet review for the whole team.

He’s the type that don’t “direct” much sa poses, more on candid/raw emotions ang style nya sa pagkuha ng pictures. Good thing about that is more ‘you’ ang pictures, natural lang. Down-side is minsan you won’t know kung ok na ba ginagawa mo, like maiisip mo ‘san ko ba ilalagay tong kamay ko?’ Others kasi as in aayusin lahat diba?

I sooo love her, sobrang bait at ang gaan ng aura nya. Nakakarelax at iba talaga ang peace of mind ko nun while she’s doing my make-up coz I know I’m in great hands. I remeber she kept on putting different lipstick shades on me kasi di pa sya satisfied kahit for me ok na. She didn’t stop until mahanap nya ang perfect match for me. Side kwento lang. I met her again a year after my wedding and natandaan nya pa ko. That wedding, umuwi na yong HMUA for the entourage and her team willingly retouched all the girls during preps pictorial. Niretouch nya pa ko personally, since past bride nya daw ako. Ang bait nya, no wonder why she’s so blessed.

Band/Singer: Mhadz and Dhzei

Eto na yung disclaimer kong rant: No show! Hay! Worst supplier namin to, nakakainis pa kasi Vanna never apologized or messaged or explained to me why she didn’t show up. Kahit sana yon man lang diba, after our wedding nakita ko pa FB post nya na nag out-of-town kasama ng family nya. Si coordinator lang ininform nya that day, which I understand naman kasi ayaw nya siguro mastress pa kami on our day pero sana after ng wedding nagmsg pa din sana sya ng sincere apology. We deserve an explanation! We deserve an acceptable reason! Grabe inis ko talaga sa kanya and she’s one of the reasons bakit di na ako nagpost ng review o kahit ano sa blog na to. Ang tagal ko kasi nakamove-on sa kanya. Obvious naman no, 2.5 years after asar pa din ako!

HMUA Entourage: Nini Marquez
Long lasting at achieved ang fresh look ng bridesmaids. Happy sila sa make-up artists ni Nini Marquez (she’s not the one doing make-up pag entourage lang).

L/S: Ananda Waveforce
Ok naman, affordable at sila kasi yong tie up ng venue.

Flowers: Tagaytay Weddings and Events (Church and Entourage)
For the price that they charged, super lugi. May mahabang chika ako about how we got this supplier. We booked them on a bridal fair in SG and supposed to be kukunin namin yong “All-in package nila” - catering, styling, flowers, full-coordination, etc. Natempt kasi kami sa hassle-free preps so nag-dp na kami ng malaki-laki but then hindi kami naging comfortable sa kanila. First is parang madaming delayed replies, or may ifollow-up kami na ang tagal bago namin makuha yong confirmation. We finally decided not to push thru on getting them when we had a problem with the venue. Since full-time coord namin sila and caterer sa kanila na dadaan yong reservation for the venue and they told us that it was already reserved. But lo and behold the manager of the venue called me and told us that another couple is interested on our date (which I pencil booked since I was the one who talked to him sa start ng preps) so ayun buking. Swerte and thankful sa manager for updating me before he give it to the couple, matagal ko na din kasi sya ka-exchange ng email. So yon, after that incident we tried to negotiate na we will just get some of their services kasi malaki na nga yong nabigay naming dp at non-refundable na daw.

Check them out, friend namin sila so bias ako heheh

Preparation: Sandari Model House
Nice sya, looks spacious kasi high ceiling. 2 rooms lang, if you have a big family that will stay with you better get another house. I think meron ng ibang house for rent sa Sandari complex now (2018) before (2016) kasi eto lang available.

Gown: Vera Wang
My dream gown, simple but elegant.

Shoes:
Bride - Badgley Mischka
Groom - Dr. Marten’s

Rings:
Engagement - Goldheart (from SG)
Wedding bands -

Entourage Gown: KKB
Haha sorry na pero di kinaya ng powers ko to so I decided to ask my bridesmaids to buy or make patahi na lang their own gown. I gave some pegs and color options as guide lang and viola, may legit mismatched bridesmaids dresses na ko. Hihi I asked them naman na kung ok lang yon na wedding gift nila samin.

Invitations: DIY by the bride
Superb! Hahah syempre love your own diba. From layouting to printing, cutting, packaging all done by us (but mostly me, taga approve/criticize lang si hubby).

Souvenirs: Mostly DIY lang to lahat, check out my DIY post
PS - Pashmina shawl and Pens
Entourage - Socks for the boys
Hangers and Pouch for the girls
                  Guests - Mini Tape Measure
Kids -  made an Activity Book for them, put coloring materials and may puzzles din

Photobooth: K's Photobooth
Get them if your wedding is in Tagaytay. Mabilis kausap, mabilis service, on-time, maganda prints. Sila din kinuha ng friend namin last December 2018 and maganada pa din service nila.

Candy Buffet: DIY
Kulang sa preparation to. We didn't have enough jars and props kaya yan lang nakayanan hahah

Supplier's Meal: Tagaytay Weddings and Events
Didn't get the chance to ask the suppliers kung kamusta ba talaga ang food nila.

Almost 3 years after our wedding, pero sabi nga nila better late than never diba?

xoxo
